Sunday School
The Sunday school ministry exists to teach the Word of God, introduce the Lord Jesus Christ to children and promote their spiritual, moral, intellectual and physical development by learning about what the Bible has to say concerning life.
We are committed to assisting children learn from the Bible that Jesus loves them and has a special purpose for their lives.
We believe the Bible indicates that children are precious to God even before they are born (Psalm 139:13-16) and that they are also a blessing from heaven (Psalm 127:3).
Jesus in Matthew 19:14 said, “Let the little children come to me, don’t stop them because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who are like these children”
The Bible also indicates that families have the main responsibility for Christian education but as a church our role is to support and encourage you
(Deuteronomy 6:5-9).
Our Goals
- To create a caring and enjoyable learning environment.
- To teach the gospel in age appropriate ways
- To give children and young people the opportunity to personally invite Jesus Christ as saviour into their lives.
- To encourage children and young people to share their faith with others
- To train and equip our volunteers for effective ministry.
Sunday School Programme: 1000hrs – 1050hrs – Every Sunday
The Sunday school classes are grouped as follows:
- Sunday School class for 4-8 years olds
- Sunday School class for 9 – 11 years old
- Sunday School class for 11 – 12 years old
- Bible study group for 13 – 17 years old
- Young Adults Bible study group for 18 – 25 years old
- The Discipleship class
- Adult Sunday school > 25yrs old
